June 24 – Goa govt has increased the retirement age of the Anganwadi Workers and Helpers from 60 years to 62 years. “ Ex-Post Facto Approval of the Government is hereby conveyed to enhance the retirement age of Anganwadi Workers / Helpers from 60 to 62 years w.e.f. 01/05/2024 and to Anganwadi Workers/Helpers those who would have retired on 30/04/2024, subject to the clearance of medical fitness beyond the age of 60 years,” states an order issued in this regards by Director and Ex-Officio Joint Secretary, Women & Child Development.
