Oct 7 – In tune with the yellow alert issued by IMD, Goa was lashed out with heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning. IMD had issued yellow alert for three days starting yesterday. Few pockets in Sattari received rain yesterday. However, rain made its presence felt in most parts of Goa this evening. Several people returning from office were caught off guard due to sudden rainfall. This is the retreating rainfall and monsoon is likely to withdraw from Goa between October 10 to 15
