Digital Goa, Jan 4 – State Revenue Dept is working towards digitizing all its service and offering them in time bound manner to ensure public centric administration, informed Revenue Minister Babush Monserrate. He was speaking to media persons after attending CM Sawant chaired review meeting with officials of the Revenue Dept. Officials have been asked for their views on reforms which need to be brought in to streamline and offer services in a time-bound manner, he added. Stating that there were complaints of white ants eating old documents, Babush informed that the department is in the process of coming up with a mechanism for safe storage of the old documents. He also went on to add that recruitment is on in the dept through GPSC. Work of new Revenue Bhavan at Merces will commence soon, he added.
