Aug 8 – Review meeting regarding Porvorim elevated corridor work plan was held at the Secretariat today. Traffic diversion plan in view of the work, which will be effective from next week was discussed in the meeting. Porvorim MLA and Minister Rohan Khaunte said that the flyover is likely to be completed within two years time. CM has given necessary instructions, it is important to see to it that contractors abide by them, he said. He further informed that as per the initial plan submitted by the company only one or two structures will be impacted.
