Digital Goa, Feb 5- Cabinet today approved implementation of the revised Solar power policy within next week, Power Minister Sudin Dhavlikar told the house today. This will give a boost to generation and use of green energy within the state and reduce the quantum of power purchase from outside the state, he opined. Opposition questioned the purchase of green power worth Rs 16 crore from trader in Arunachal Pradesh instead of putting the money into solar and other green power generating projects in Goa. As per GERC rules it is mandatory to purchase green power from approved traders, informed CM.
