Digital Goa, July 3 – The Department of River Navigation has notified revised toll fees and monthly pass rates for the Ribandar–Chodan ferry route, effective from July 7, 2025. Incidentally, two RoRo ferries are to be deployed on this route soon. According to the revised schedule, two-wheelers will continue to travel free, while cars, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers will be charged Rs 30 per trip, with a monthly pass of Rs 900. Medium commercial and passenger vehicles will pay Rs 100 per trip (Rs 1,500 for a monthly pass), and heavy motor vehicles below 10 tonnes will be charged Rs 400 per trip (Rs 6,000 for a monthly pass). Rental two-wheelers with riders will be charged Rs 100 per trip, rental cars with passengers Rs 300 per trip, and tourists Rs 50 per trip. The new rates apply specifically to this route, while toll rates on other ferry routes remain unchanged, states the notification issued in this regard.
