The Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) has announced the extension of the temporary closure of the road stretch from the Fisherman Training Centre, Ella Old Goa, to Dempo Football Ground, Gaundalim, till December 31, 2026, for construction of a Road Over Bridge (ROB) at LC Gate No. 37. The closure will remain in force daily from 9 pm to 6 am (night hours) and from 10 am to 5 pm(day hours). During the closure period, vehicular traffic will be diverted via the Banastarim route or the Corlim IDC area (only for light motor vehicles). GSIDC has advised commuters to follow the notified diversion plan available on its website.
