Feb 5- State River Navigation Dept has floated tender for hiring/ leasing of Solar Electric boat, St Pedro PNJ-880. The tender is valued at Rs 12 lakh. Shipyards, boat builders cruise boat operators, parties in the Marine field etc are eligible to apply.The Solar Electric boat was built by the govt by spending Rs 4 crore. The private party can operate the same boat for tourism purpose/ commercial purpose in the river Mandovi, Chapora, Zuari for the period of 5 years as per prevailing Acts & Rules with al required licences and will have to pay advance yearly rent to the department with 10% increase every year states the tender document.
