Digital Goa, Jan 30 – Injection worth Rs 2 lakh will be made available for breast cancer patient free of cost at Goa Medical College and Hospital from Feb 4. The high cost PHESGO injection, a Pertuzumab and Trastuzumab combination will be used for treatment of adult patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer (MBC) patients. DHS also aims to scale up tri-cancer screening for cervical, oral and breast cancer in the state.
