Digital Goa, May 23 – The Rs 460 crore airport road redesign project has been sanctioned and work is already underway, with completion targeted for July 2026 informed Union Minister Nitin Gadkari . He also announced that the four-laning of the Mumbai-Goa highway will be completed within the next 3–4 months, reducing travel time between Goa and Mumbai to just 5–6 hours. Additionally, the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the ambitious Rs 12,000 crore Borim bridge project has commenced, he informed.
