Digital Goa, July 45 – Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao today said that “this event management government” has spent more than Rs 500 crores on events in last four years. Speaking in the assembly, Alemao said Rs 100 crores are spent by Information and Publicity Dept alone from 2019 to 2023. He also questioned the post facto approval given by the govt to most of these events. Speaking on police demands he charged that crimes are on the rise and detection rate abysmal. He further alleged that illegal casinos are operated in every constituency of Goa and there are 12 in Cuncolim itself. These casinos are ruining the future of Goan youth, he added.
