Digital Goa, April 21 – Stray dog menace continues to haunt South Goa beaches despite several efforts by locals and govt to curb the problem. At Betalbhatim beach in Salcete, a six-year-old Russian girl playing with her parents was severely scratched by a stray dog. An on-duty lifesaver provided first aid by cleaning the wound, after which the girl was taken to a doctor by her parents for medical attention. Lifesavers also responded to multiple incidents over the Easter weekend across South Goa beaches.
