Digital Goa, June 25 – The Public Works Department (PWD) has announced a complete shutdown of the 100 MLD Salaulim Water Treatment Plant at Xelpem under the South West Water Supply Project (SWSP) on June 29 to facilitate urgent interconnection work. Due to the shutdown, water supply to the constituencies of Sanvordem, Quepem, Cuncolim, Curtorim, Margao, Fatorda, Shiroda, Nuvem, Cortalim, Dabolim, Vasco and Mormugao will be affected. The department has informed that these areas are likely to experience restricted water supply on June 30.
