Digital Goa, August 6 – Goa government has revised the jurisdiction of Saligao Police Station, located at Pilerne Industrial Estate, under the provisions of BNSS. As per the new notification, the Saligao Police Station will now have jurisdiction over seven village panchayats: Saligao, Sangolda, Nerul, Pilerne (excluding NH-66, footpath, Nova Cidade, Mall de Goa), Marra, Reis Magos, and Guirim. Marra will no longer fall under Calangute Police Station; Nerul, Pilerne, and Reis Magos will cease to be under Porvorim Police Station; and Guirim will no longer be under Mapusa Police Station.
