Digital Goa, Nov 29- Sancoale Communidade today commenced drive to demolish 64 houses illegally built on Communidade land in last many years. The demolition drive began this morning in police protection and will continue till 5.30 pm today. The drive to implement court order will continue till all 64 houses are demolished, said Sancoale Communidade President Pratap Mardolkar. “We have warned the people against building houses time and again. But the people abused us and continued building houses”, he said. They are claiming to have paid money to some people for protection. Interestingly, half the houses had water and electricity connection despite being illegal.
