CM Pramod Sawant has urged manufacturers, traders, and shop owners to pass on the benefits of the new GST regime to consumers. An awareness rally has been planned in Panaji this evening, where the CM along with his cabinet colleagues will participate. The Union Government’s comprehensive overhaul of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), referred to as ‘GST 2.0’, came into effect on Monday, coinciding with the onset of Navratri.
