Nov 20 – A visually challenged girl from Margao – Sumera Khan – today met CM Pramod Sawant to complain against one Sadiq Shaikh for duping her for Rs 8 lakh on the pretext of providing Housing Board plot. Sadiq Shaikh is already in police custody in another cheating case. CM promised her that strict action will be taken against the accused and also strongly condemned the act of the accused to dupe even person with disability.
