Aug 1 – State Disaster Management Authority(SDMA) will issue an advisory to all planning and development authorities within the state of Goa and all local bodies specially the TCP Dept to strictly enforce all the preventive measures while granting permissions and licences for development and also ensure with department of Agriculture & Forest for planting adequate trees and engaging in aforeststation measures to prevent Wayanad like landslide and similar disasters, informed Minister Babush Monserrate. Study of landslide prone areas will be taken up through expert agency, he added.
