Sept 11- Second phase of traffic diversion in view of construction of Porvorim elevated corridor will commence from tonight, informed SP Traffic. “As notified by the District Magistrate, North Goa, to begin with the second phase of Elevated Corridor at Porvorim, traffic on NH 66 will be diverted from later tonight at Mall de Goa to take road via Chhatrapati Shivaji Statue to proceed via existing service road to further proceed towards Panaji. Further, the work in second phase will also be carried out from the starting point of Central Median at Sangolda Junction (Porvorim Bazaar) to up to 70 metres towards Panaji side, leaving space of about 6 metres on either side of NH 66 for the use of vehicular traffic,” informed SP.
