Digital Goa, June 26 – Goa Govt has imposed section 144 around the modernized abattoir at Usgao for 4 days from June 28 to July 1, in view of the ensuing Bakrid or Eid-ul-Adha festival wherein _Qurbani is performed at the abattoir. CM Sawant has discussed with officials in detail about the preparatory arrangements for the performance of Qurbani, stated the order. As per practice, All Goa Muslim Jamaats Association will be transporting animals from other States via Mollem Gate in Dharbandora Taluka and Pollem Gate in Canacona Taluka to be slaughtered during Qurbani, the order by South Goa Collector further adds.
