Digital Goa, May 9- District Collector of South and North Goa have issued orders prohibiting specific activities, within a 500-metre radius in South Goa and 50-meter radius in North Goa, of all defence establishments and critical infrastructure facilities across Goa. These include military bases, naval installations, fuel depots, communication stations, power stations, and airports.The order bans unauthorized parking of vehicles, trespassing, movement of goods or people without clearance, setting up of shops or stalls, and storing materials or constructing any structure that could obstruct security or emergency services. The directive is effective for 60 days from the date of issue and applies to all individuals, vendors, commercial entities, and organizations, unless withdrawn earlier.
