Sept 29 – Goa govt will initiate measures to beef up security on the backdrop of security alert in Mumbai following tip off by Central Intelligence agencies. DGP briefed the officials of the police dept during the security review meeting today about national security concerns, informed CM Pramod Sawant. Goa being a coastal state, with large number of fishing boats, higher percentage of migrants etc several measures have been initiated, informed Sawant.
