Digital Goa, Oct 22, 2025 – The Select Committee on the Goa Public Universities Bill will meet principals and management representatives on November 18 to gather feedback, said Minister Subhash Shirodkar. The bill aims to establish multidisciplinary public universities in line with NEP 2020. Concerns have been raised about its impact on Goa University. Committee member Vijay Sardesai warned against any rushed decisions, noting the new system is expected only by 2035.
