Digital Goa, September 21, 2025 – In a shocking incident, a senior citizen woman was brutally murdered by a 21-year-old Assam native inside her flat at Baina, Vasco, this afternoon. The victim has been identified as Meharunnisa Bidikar. Police said the accused Rohom Ali slit her neck, leading to her death on the spot. After committing the crime, the accused reportedly bolted the flat from inside and remained there. The Vasco police, upon being alerted, had to break open the door before arresting him. As per residents Meharunnisa had questioned him for causing nuisance and disturbing residents.
