Digital Goa, July 27 – Porvorim Police arrested Kishorbhai Macchi alias Ajay Ranpariya (44) from Gujarat for snatching a gold chain worth ₹1.8 lakh from a woman in PDA Colony. The accused posed as a courier delivery agent and fled after robbing the victim on July 24. He was traced to a guest house in Calangute using CCTV and technical surveillance. Macchi has a history of similar offences in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and also confessed to another chain snatching in Saligao in June this year.
