Digital Goa, November 9 – A fatal accident took place at Assonora when a Maruti Zen car lost control and plunged into a canal, claiming the life of Dipesh Mandrekar, a local resident. Another youth from Shirgao, who was travelling with him, was rescued by locals who rushed to the spot. According to eyewitnesses, the car suddenly veered off the road and fell into the canal. Colvale Police are conducting investigation into the circumstances surrounding the mishap.
