Digital Goa, June 20 – Six inmates, including Sameer Shaikh, lodged in Colvale State Central jail, have filed a petition before the High Court alleging bullying by jail officials. The petition alleges bullying and mistreatment by jail officials following the alleged altercation between Tarzan Parsekar and Vijay Karbotkar. The High Court, taking cognizance of the matter, has directed the Goa government to permit the petitioner inmates to meet their advocates. The case is scheduled for a hearing tomorrow, June 21. In the last week of May, two notorious factions, led by under trial Tarzan Parsekar and life convict Vijay Karbotkar had clashed in a fight within the jail premises.
