Digital Goa, Jan 8 – The land of Goa has become canvass of Purple, not only in colour but also in the spirit, said CM Pramod Sawant while inaugurating the six-day-long International Purple Festival Goa 2024 today evening. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message for the participants of this festival was read out by minister Subhash Phal Dessai. Sawant asserted that the differently abled are not “disabled” but “special” for the country. Union Minister Ramdas Athavale who was present at the inaugural function said that Purple Fest “celebrates the spirit of inclusiveness.”
