Digital Goa, August, 12 – A solo trekker who lost his way and was stranded following a landslide in the dense forest near Badsare temple at Gaondongrim in Canacona taluka around noon today(August 12) was rescued by Fire & Emergency Personnel with the help of locals. The trekker identified as Rohit Kudalkar informed that he was trapped in the forest and reportedly unable to find his way out after a sudden landslide blocked his route. Following this he called the emergency response number from his mobile and sought for help.Teams from Canacona Police, the Forest Department and Fire and Emergency Services reached the spot and rescued Rohit.
