Digital Goa, May 19 – Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Land Grabbing has arrested Vithu Nagvekar, one of the main accused in a 2020 Succoro village land grabbing case registered at Mapusa Police Station. The case, involves fraudulent mutation and illegal possession of Communidade land in Succorro village. The accused allegedly impersonated his father, late Madhukar Nagvekar and forged documents to claim over 69,000 sq. meters of land at Succorro. Other accused named in the case include Alisha Nagvekar, Ranjeet Salgaonkar (then Joint Mamlatdar-II, Bardez), Rohan Kaskar (then Administrator of Communidade of North Zone, Mapusa), and Agnelo Lobo (Attorney of Communidade of Serula).
