Sought guidance & support from PM Modi to build Viksit Goa: CM after meeting PM & Union Ministers

    June 24- CM Pramod Sawant met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Union Ministers in Delhi after they took oath as members of 18th Lok Sabha. Sawant said he has sought guidance and support from Prime Minister to build a Viksit Goa under the ambitious vision of Viksit Bharat 204.
    ▪️ Discussed ESA notification, Mining & CZMP with Environment Minister
    He also met Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav along with Minister Aleixo Sequeira. Sawant said he discussed several critical issues concerning the State, including the ESA notification, Sand Mining, Mining Transport, and the Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP) for Goa.
    ▪️ Gadkari invited to inaugurate Mopa Airport Link Road
    Sawant also met Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and invited him to inaugurate the 6 Lane Link Road Connecting National Highway 66 to Manohar International Airport, Mopa and to lay the Foundation Stone for the 4 Lane Connectivity Road from MES College Junction to Bogmalo Junction.
    ▪️ 55th IFFI hosting discussed with Ashwini Vaishnaw
    Sawant said he discussed various issues related to hosting of the 55th edition of the International Film Festival of India 2024 with Ashwini Vaishaw, Minister for Information & Broadcasting and Railways.
    CM also met Union Health Minister J P Nadda and Agriculture Minister Shivraj Chauhan.
