Digital Goa, June 1 – Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some parts of South Arabian Sea, Maldives & Comorin area and some more parts of South Bay of Bengal & East central Bay of Bengal. Conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of south Arabian Sea, Maldives & Comorin area, South Bay of Bengal, East central Bay of Bengal and some parts of Northeast Bay of Bengal during next 48 hours. Meanwhile, IMD has issued Warning for coastal areas for South- Maharashtra-Goa coast (upto 75km from the coast) : Squally weather with wind speed 40-45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph is very likely to prevail along and off Goa coast on June 1, 2023. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas during above mentioned period.
