Digital Goa, Mar 6- Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) has announced the development of a Ghat Aarti facility on the banks of the Mandovi River at Narvem, inspired by the traditional Ganga Aarti rituals. The project, estimated to cost Rs 10.54 crore, is expected to be completed in 240 days i.e. approximately 8 months, excluding the monsoon season.The facility is expected to include a Puja Mandapam, an Aarti Deck, seating arrangements, a ticket counter, a floating jetty, boats, prominent Lord Shiva statue, cafeteria, a tourist information centre, comprehensive illumination etc. The initiative aims to enhance spiritual tourism in Goa, offering visitors a unique cultural experience along the Mandovi River.
