Digital Goa, Oct 27- Total of 3,840 medical practitioners are registered with Goa Medical Council (GMC) in the State of Goa as of October 16, 2023. Interestingly, 232 new medical practitioners have been registered with GMC in the last 10 months. GMC has published the latest list of registered medical practitioners of Goa. It has also made available names of medical practitioners which are removed from the register of medical practitioners. The list is exhibited on the Notice Board of Council Office and is available for perusal. Printed Copy is also available at the Council Office. Every medical practitioner is bound to renew their GMC registration every five years for which they have to obtain 30 Continuous Medical Education (CME) credits. The GMC registration of medical practitioners is liable for cancellation if they fail to obtain 30 CME credits.
