Digital Goa, Feb 26- State Transport Department will only accept digital payments while compounding Challans issued under Motor Vehicle Act/Rules. All Challans will be compounded only in Digital Form through debit/credit card, through QR code generated on e-challan machine or using the link https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in/index/accused-challan (for payment of uncompounded M.V. Challan. The link will also be sent to the violators mobile number. “In order to promote Digital Payments and facilitate easy payment of uncompounded Challans issued under Motor Vehicle Act/Rules, w.e.f. 1st March, 2025 NO CASH PAYMENT will be accepted while compounding Challans issued under Motor Vehicle Act/Rules,” stated a release issued by Dy. Supdt. of Police, Traffic (HQ), Sudesh Narvekar.
