State Wildlife Board decides to develop Surla Plateau and Mollem for eco-tourism

Digital Goa, Nov 21- State Wildlife Board has decided to develop Surla Plaeau in Sattari Taluka and Mollem as eco-tourism destinations. The meeting under the Chairmanship of CM Pramod Sawant took the decision to develop these forested areas to empower the local people, says Forest Minister Vishwajit Rane. The Goa Forest Development Corporation will have tie ups with various agencies and hotels to open up these areas for tourists, he said. He said that the board also discussed development of waterfall circuit and bird atlas.
