Digital Goa, July 18 – Passenger footfall at the Dabolim Airport has seen a steady decline in passenger footfall since Jan this year. Passenger footfall from Jan to May 2023 was as follows – Jan – 8.51 lakh, Feb 7.34 lakh, March -7.45 lakh (slight increase) , April – 6.78 lakh, May – 6.20 lakh. Incidentally, passenger footfall in March and May was nearly 9.2 % less as compared to last year. This information was presented before the state legislative assembly in a written reply. “The slight decline in flight operations and passenger footfalls at Dabolim Airport is on account of temporary non-operations of GoAir flights,” the reply further adds.
