Digital Goa, Jan 9 – After escalation of agitation by Sugarcane farmers, Goa govt has finally floated the tender for redevelopment of Sanjeevani Sugar factory on Public Private Partnership (PPP) Basis. Directorate of Agriculture (DoA) has floated the tender for re-development of the existing Sanjivani Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana along with the setting up of an Ethanol production plant through Public Private Partnership (PPP) on Design-Build- Finance-Operate-Transfer (DBFOT) basis. Request for Qualification (RFQ) applications have been invited by the Goa govt through eProcurement System (https://eprocure.goa.gov.in/nicgep/app) .The RFQ will be available for download on the eprocure site from 10th January, 2024 while last date & time for submission of online Applications in the format prescribed in the RFQ Document is 1 March, 2024.
Meanwhile, CMO has invited panel of farmers agitating at Azad Maidan in Panaji for talks today.
