Digital Goa, July 10 – Supreme Court today adjourned the Mhadei matter to November 28. The matter came for hearing before the apex court today. Goa will place the order of Chief Wildlife Warden before the court in the next hearing. In its earlier order SC had said that Mahadayi Water Disputes Tribunal was binding on the riparian states of Goa, Karnataka and Maharashtra. As the issue whether permission under the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 is required, was sub judice and pending consideration of the Chief Wildlife Warden under Section 29 of the Act, the SC had refrained from commenting on the issue.
