Supreme Court-appointed committee to visit Goa on October 16 to assess tiger reserve proposal

Digital Goa, October 14 – The Supreme Court-appointed Central Empowered Committee (CEC) will visit Goa on October 16. The committee will assess the ground reality regarding the proposed declaration of a tiger reserve after consulting with all relevant stakeholders. The CEC will submit its report to the Supreme Court, which is currently hearing the matter on whether a tiger reserve should be declared in Goa.
