Digital Goa, May 30- The Supreme Court on Friday deferred hearing of the Goa government’s appeals against the Bombay High Court’s March 13, 2025, order that read down Section 17(2) of the TCP Act at the State government’s request. The matter has now been listed for hearing on July 21. The deferment came after the Goa govt, which had earlier sought an urgent hearing through a letter dated May 28, requested an adjournment when the matter was called out citing unavailability of arguing counsel.
