Digital Goa, June 10 – Twenty-eight tourists from Kerala were treated at the casualty department of South Goa District Hospital (SGDH) after allegedly suffering food poisoning on the night of June 9. SGDH Superintendent Dr Rajendra Borkar said that 25 of the tourists were discharged after receiving preliminary treatment, while three were admitted for further observation and treatment. The three patients were later discharged after their condition stabilised and they requested to leave the hospital. According to the tourist group, they had consumed food at a food outlet in Old Goa before experiencing symptoms. Health authorities are expected to look into the matter.
