Digital Goa, Sept 8 – Family of 16-year-old Anjuna boy who got drowned in a pond at Anjuna yesterday is suspecting foul play in his death and has urged Goa police to thoroughly investigate the matter. The body of the teenager Sahil Absar Anwar was found in the pond at Chivar, Anjuna yesterday. Family said that he was a good swimmer and ruled out the likelihood of him drowning in the shallow pond. Police had said that the boy went for a swim with his friends and got drowned. The friends had fled away from the scene after the drowning incident. A passerby saw the body in the pond and informed the police.
