Jan 20- Swiss Foundation Groupe International Chirurgiens Amis de la Main (GICAM), a Swiss foundation has begun its second Hand Surgery and Rehabilitation Camp at Goa Medical College (GMC) Hospital. The initiative aims to enhance advanced hand surgery, rehabilitation, and prosthetic care in the state. The camp, following GICAM’s visit in July and August last year, provides hands-on experience to GMC doctors and is expected to benefit nearly 50 patients. On the first day, four complex surgeries were successfully performed. “These are intricate procedures requiring high levels of expertise,” said Dr Bandekar, Dean of GMC. “
