Digital Goa, Sept 16 – Taleigao Panchayat has warned stray cattle owners that cattle causing nuisance on the roads will be impounded and released only after payment of fines. “Village Panchayat will start impounding of Cattles found on roads, footpaths, public places and any open places,” states a public notice by the Panchayat. The decision has been taken to avoid traffic disruption and accidents caused by these strays after efforts to persuade the Cattle owners have failed and Stray Cattle menace continues unabated,” stated a public notice by panchayat.
