Digital Goa, May 29- Taxi Operators gathered at Anjuna Police Station in large numbers in protest against the draft cab aggregator guidelines. The protesting operators alleged that police are threatening taxi owners who oppose the taxi app and cab aggregator guidelines. They warned of intensifying their agitation if govt continues with the alleged high handedness and goes ahead with the implementation of the guidelines.
The operators also expressed displeasure over inclusion of the name of one of their leaders Mogambo alias Yogesh Govekar in the history sheeter list. 39-year-old Yogesh’s name has been listed in the police station wise list of new history sheet opened after May 22,2025. As per police he is involved in body offences and has 7 cases against him at Anjuna Police Station and 2 at Calangute Police Station.
