Digital Goa, June 13 – Taxi operators who met CM Pramod Sawant at the Mantralaya today along with 2 coastal MLAs reiterated their firm opposition to app-based cab services. “We will not come on any app. App is not feasible in Goa,” they asserted. They informed that CM has assured them that cab aggregators like Ola and Uber will not be allowed in the state.Operators said CM has assured them that meetings will be held with the stakeholders to decide on uniform point to point taxi rates. The same would then be notified. The notified rates will be displayed on the stands and also made digitally available on website, they added.
