Digital Goa, September 10 – A large number of taxi operators gathered outside the Assembly complex at Porvorim today, questioning the government over the proposed State Taxi Policy. The operators said they had trusted the earlier assurance given by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant regarding the September 10 deadline for finalising the policy. However, with no clarity forthcoming, they demanded a written assurance from the govt. The operators also sought a meeting with the Chief Minister to press their demands and convey their concerns directly.
