Digital Goa, Nov 13 – The Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department has accepted 16 proposals seeking conversion of 2,33,683 sq. m. of land across Goa into settlement zones under Section 39A of the TCP Act. The proposed lands are located in villages including Arambol, Candolim, Alcona, Revora, Morjim, Siolim, Mandrem, Adnem, Cuncolim, Shiroda, Pilerne, Salvador-do-Mundo, and Velus. The zone changes are proposed under the Regional Plan for Goa 2021 and the Outline Development Plan of Vasco-da-Gama Planning Area 2030. The department has invited public suggestions and objections within 30 days on the proposals.
