Digital Goa, July 3 – The Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department has invited e-tenders for appointing a consultant to geo-reference and digitise the Regional Plan of Goa 2021. This is part of the effort to integrate the state’s planning data into the PM Gati Shakti State Master Plan, aimed at improving infrastructure and logistics planning across the country. The appointed consultant will convert existing non-geo-referenced PDFs and AutoCAD files of the Regional Plan into accurate, geo-referenced datasets. The work includes preparing village, taluka, and district-level GIS maps in 1:4000 and 1:500 scales, spatially adjusting the maps using Land Survey Department data, and creating vector layers representing land use and other key features. The project is supposed to be completed within 6 months.
